PROGRAM DETAILS
DAY 1 – FRIDAY
Arrival in Langa with its own means. Accommodation in a selected structure. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight.
DAY 2 – SATURDAY
After breakfast departure for Alba, capital of the Langhe and free visit of the town that will amaze you with its center of medieval structure, the towers and the smell of chocolate in the streets. The “King” of the city, however, is the white truffle, which alone knows how to attract tourists and gourmets from all over the world. On Saturday morning the visit is enriched by the opportunity to stroll and shop among the traditional weekly market stalls.
Free lunch (Packed in the center of Alba, price on request).
Afternoon along a scenic route through the vineyards of Barbaresco Treiso reach. A must to admire the breathtaking sight of the Rocche dei Sette Fratelli. Continuing on the Romantic Road will reach Barbaresco where we suggest a stop at the observation tower. Last stop in Neive, one of the 100 most beautiful villages in Italy. We suggest an interesting walk in the beautiful old town. in local park downtown for a drink.
In the evening dinner at a renowned restaurant in the area.
Return to hotel and overnight.
DAY 3 – SUNDAY
After breakfast, the release of the rooms and departure to discover the hills of Barolo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stop the homonymous country to visit the new Museum of Wine WI.MU. It located in the Castle of Barolo in whose cellars Marchesa Giulia Colbert named the “King of Wines”.
During the tour is scheduled to stop at a wine-tasting cellar.
Free Lunch (possibility of typical lunch at the farmhouse, price on request).
In the afternoon we recommend a walk in La Morra, famous village for the charming “lookout” which offers views of incomparable beauty on the Lower Langa vineyards. Obligatory stop at the colorful Cappella del Barolo, a former church in the heart of the vineyards and the magnificent cedar of Lebanon planted by Conti Falletti that 150 years is the reference point of the inhabitants of the area.
